Collection Pristine

The Hindu Kush Himalayan (HKH) ranges covering an area of over 4.3 million square kilometres and spanning a length of 3,500 kilometres, offer the largest sources of freshwater and volumes of ice on earth outside of the poles, earning it the sobriquet of “The Third Pole.” This region has an incredibly diverse ecosystem and is home to parts of four global biodiversity hotspots. A direct consequence of global warming is the rapidly receding glaciers, which together with increased population, exploitation of natural resources, and indiscriminate developmental activities have led to largely irreversible changes to the HKH cryosphere. The consequent devastating impacts are environmental, geological, and social.

Our latest work wear collection Pristine seeks to make this discussion more mainstream, by deriving inspiration from the majestic landscapes of the snow-capped HKH mountain ranges and the clothing typical to its indigenous peoples. This collection is defined by its bold colours and confident silhouettes crafted out of handspun and handwoven khadi in varying textures, EcoVero, and Modal fabrics. Pristine offers versatile and functional garments that make a robust capsule collection for the modern professional.
Staying true to our commitment to sustainable practices, we have maximised fabric consumption, used azo-free dyes, recycled threads, corozo and wooden buttons, and YKK zippers, for handcrafted excellence.

With each piece a testament to pristine craftsmanship, our versatile design palette can be curated into a robust capsule collection.
